Aron Rainwater’s Reviews > Mimesis: The Representation of Reality in Western Literature > Status Update

Excellent book that not only walks the reader through the uneven progression of the various ways in which literature has represented reality over the millennia, but helps him understand what devices and types of focus accomplish these varying modes of representation. If you, like me, you’re still aspiring to become well read, you’ll leave this book with a solid reading list as well!
