Starting to become action packed. Amazing woods fight scene. Kinda creepy!
The character development for Galva is amazing. Keeping her mysterious yet slowly opening the lore of her background has been great.
The way the author has quick names to track lesser characters such as deadlegs Deerpants, hornhead, flail and axe. Really helps with the humour of kinch aswell as makes it easy for the reader to keep track.

A big fight with a whale happened, which attracted a kraken to come and fight with the crew in 2 small boats. 16 of the 80 crew mates died causing Kinch and Galva to have to work to make up for the missing crew members. Kinch is being mistreated by Galva and Mall and has drifted closer to Norrigal.

Since the battle against the Hornhead. Kinch and the group found a captain to sale with Oustrim.
The cat bully boy returned and the lady Sesta threatened him gave Kinch a new task to bring her to Oustrim through the cat.
The group set sail all going well until Kinch meets an old enemy Malk from his past that is part of the crew and throws a threat at him basically saying to not sleep.

The book has been great. Chapter to chapter has been intriguing and has hooked me thus far. Characters Kinch has been very funny and you definitely feel a connection as if he is a friend. Galva’s character is still a bit mysterious as the character development is still in progress.
