I’ve finished the first book. It’s was good but I had trouble keeping focus on certain parts but overall remember the book decently well. It was also somewhat difficult to read due to the British accent and my dyslexic self.

The tripods have now risen and are burning his home town. He has met a soldier who described his experience with the aliens and how he almost died.

Good so far. The action just started in the last chapter I read.
