Bronson M’s Reviews > The Prince > Status Update

Initially intended to be a job application to re-enter the Florentine political establishment, this is a handbook for how a Prince should rule and manage the populace, military, etc. and balancing being feared and love, with the author noting the former being preferable. Interesting look into an early idea of political realism, challenging the idealistic notions of early western philosophers Plato and Aristotle.
