C43-Valira coming to eat C was not something I’d read today. C’s demeanour softening when N arrives😭 ugh I love them. Why does Sol not want N around C,T or S? & which one specifically does he want her to stay away from? C? Katsan with the death threats again, so boring. I hope N teaches the bully a lesson.

C42-I love the Raven lmao ‘we are magnificent, Sol is a useless being,’ & ‘I can only help you once, it will be very exhausting for me, propping up your feebleness’💀. I have not laughed this hard in a while.

C41-woah the book transforming into the Solitary Raven fragment??? Lmaooo not it mimicking her. Sol doesn’t like C for the throne, why? Wait now Sol lives inside N’s chest? I’m so very confused but loving every second of this.

C39-N finally talking to the Raven!!! Wait R is the reason for the Return of the Eight & somehow it’s N’s problem to stop?? Make it make sense. N starts letting the Raven in but then blocks it out again, it’s enraged. R knocks N out, Benna lays on her to protect her, Valbras pushes R to kill N, R realises the emperor wants N dead so he walks away. So much is happening.

C38-Abbot Fort saying they’re trapped & can’t leave the island? Nonono am I so nervous. The emperor knows that N knows, the party is her send off before he kills her. WTF. So instead of doing it himself, he’s changed the trial rules to fight to the death, asshole. Oh god, why am I scared that Benna is into something dangerous now too?

C37-I wonder if the emperor knows N is trying to escape & that’s why he’s commanded her to attend the dinner party. Either way, we’ve just found out that Benna potentially lied about the designer buying back N’s dress. I really like her, please please please don’t ruin her character I’m begging.

C36-omg G addressed a note to N with hints on where to find the evidence in her book?! I thought she hated her. Holy SHIT, he died & his brother replaced him?! They killed everyone they couldn’t buy off & chopped Gedrun’s fingers off so he couldn’t write or use a sword wtf. This is the craziest chapter so far.

C35-Kindry is a huge loser. Ugh I’m obsessed with C. It’s seriously unhealthy. N very clearly wants him too which is the most annoying part like girl DO SOMETHING.

C34-the Raven’s outrage at N ignoring them ‘What next, indigestion? A rogue prawn?’💀. Wait B is want to kill N too??? I should’ve known, he’s a snake in the grass.

C33-N making Tala chase her around with an axe has me crying, why is that so funny to me rn? N thinks she’s going insane but i desperately want to know what’ll happen if she lets the Raven in. Anyway she didn’t die, she managed to get up after thinking she was going mad.
