this book was a hard read, i have a dislike for when authors forcibly try and use complicated words, to maybe seem smarter? more authentic? the concept of the book was genuinely interesting but there were moments where i was genuinely just confused, for example, are we set in a world where the supernatural is not just imaginary and is a common occurrence? or is the fact that emma summoned a ghost insane?
