Almost gave this book away at the 70 page mark because of the extremely stripped back prose and the bizarrely technical vocab used by CM. Persevered and was pleasantly surprised. The story started gained some momentum and I was impressed by how vivid a picture CM painted of a bleak, post-apocalyptic world. I also admire how realistic the depictions of human behaviour in these circumstances would be.
