The current chapter I read was very cute and wholesome. Very very early days of HP. It was nice to read that the kids on set were still able to be kids. That’s very rare to hear nowadays. I loved reading about the memories Tom made, the fact that his costars became his friends, and the fact that he was not perfect when filming. I think this book helps to humanize actors and show that they are regular people too.

Read chapters on the train a few months ago. Read chapters 8 and 9 which were about the very starts of the filming of HP. Talked about getting into character, the table read, and about his grandfather. In the middle, there were some pictures which was a joy to look at. Nice to see an actor who had a lovely childhood and am even lovelier family.

Just completed ch. 2. It was nice learning about Tom’s upbringing and about his family. Kind of breaks the barrier between celebrity and normal person. It’s to emphasize that celebrities were kids too and they are people too with parents, siblings, and a life

Just read the Foreward by Emma Watson and Chapter 1. So far, so good. Cheesing like crazy. The words that Emma wrote made me tear up a bit.
