I thought about dnfing, but at this point I'll finish. This feels like what happens if you watch About Cherry while reading Andrea Dworkin. (I am a fan of neither the film nor the author). It's so boring and reductive. If you are going to go tawdry a t least make it interesting. Rowbottom has some writing skill. She just doesn't seem to know much about people. That is especially true with regard to women over 50.
