I can’t remember what rating I gave ‘The Prince of Thorns’ but if that was a 3/5, this is a 4/5 so far. Definitely an improvement, but I feel like the entire ‘Book of the Ancestor’ trilogy was perfect for me, each book feeling better than the last. This feels like I’m still pushing myself to get through it, but what I’m reading is enjoyable. There’s a difference. Jorg is no Nona.
