"Animal Farm" by George Orwell (1945)

6.8/10

Unabashed in its observations of early Communism and egalitarian ideals, and the impact of corruption, militarisation, and poor education/lack of critical thinking skills.

It's a dense read; especially depressing in the current climate of geo-politics.

The text does not offer any solution or insight, thus leaving the reader with linger dread beyond its pages.
