I'm not quite sure how I'm feeling about this book now that I'm around 70% through but there have been more and more bizarre issues or instances of clunky writing and I'm not enjoying it as much as I was at the start as that stuff has been building up. It's disappointing because I was really excited about it.

Oh I am eating this up, actually!!! It has such a nostalgic feeling to me, and so far is a compelling retelling.
