Kingsolver is an incredible science writer & her prose is beautiful, but this just wasn’t for me. Some people may relate to the biblical allegories & phrases & find connection to the earth through the book, maybe even an acceptance of climate change as scientific fact they’ve previously denied (maybe for religious reasons), therefore this is an important work.
