im starting to get into this more and more but i do feel like luzia and santangel got close really really quickly. i wasnt expecting that at all and i feel a little bit like i missed the point where they started getting closer. feels a bit too fast in my opinion

ive really been struggling in these first 150 pages. i feel like leigh bardugo’s classic worldbuilding doesnt really grab me as much as i was hoping too. but i feel like im mostly through the slow burn historical setup so i think itll finally start to catch up to me now

finally made a tiny start on this leigh bardugo which has been in TBR jail for i think about 2 years. i really love her writing so far (and loved it a lot in six of crows & ninth house) so im quite curious for this one! so far so good will read more later ;)
