Being a gay guy into hockey is like the seventh layer of hell, because wdym whenever I say "I like hockey" some person is always like "You mean you like Heated Rivalry" GENUINELY COUNT YOUR DAYS. 7 year old me did not paint his nails for his first hockey game to be told the only reason he could like hockey as a gay guy is for the dudes playing it. Have you SEEN the people playing hockey?? I'm sorry most are NOT hot.

Bro that is so frustrating. Obviously I love the show (lol), but lately people keep assuming that my friend likes HR just because he is gay (he doesn't even like hockey) and it PMO SO MUCH. Why are people like this 😭

I lowkey liked Heated Rivarly when I watched it but I kinda hate it that now if I tell someone I found interesting hockey they think that I only like it because of heated rivarly or because I think one of the guy are like cute or something, like why can't I just like a sport without it having to based on their looks or something

I've gone to a couple of local games with my city and I love going and really want to actually start watching hockey and baseball but I agree all the mlm hockey books are basically fetishized to the point it's hard to distinguish the actually sport and that between some people. sigh.like I love guys too but I'd rather watch them ramming into each other in a throw your helmets off and fight way yk?

heated rivalry is my biggest opp i swear 🙏 the over-sexualization of mlm couples is disgusting and that show only perpetuates it. like why can't we have a hockey romance without it being overly freaked out 💔
I guess you have a point but I still kinda liked the story line of it. Like yeah it was freaky but it also had an emotional story line also. But that's just my opinion.
