Thoroughly enjoying the few chapters I’ve read so far. My multiple anthro profs who recommended this were right.
Though i do understand the negative reviews as this book does fall victim to what many anthropological texts do: inaccessibility for the average person outside of academia. With all the terminology and theory, i can see how ppl get lost.
