made up for lost time after sitting in the cinema all day yesterday. read back through my own reviews; how funny that both irish authors i’ve read recently have both mentioned buffy. they’ve both also been compared heavily to sally rooney — as does happen to any irish contemporary lit author — but i think it applies more accurately here. really enjoying this, although it did make me cry twice today.
