Every second passed was another I could hear our hearts beat,
one of hhers was three of mine,
and she owned every single one.

I mumbled, pushing at his chest.

"We could only be each other's peace; we are too chaotic to find it
elsewhere."

"What do you 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 want from me?"

Silas's eyes narrowed, his pupils constricting as he stared.

He smirked after a contemplative pause and tucked a loose piece of hair behind my ear.

"I want everything."

“It is what I like most about you.
Every time you look at me with those unforgiving eyes,
I feel you could do anything to me.
You could squeeze my heart, and it would still beat proudly for you, swelling until it bursts in your fist.”

I scoffed, but I did not dare move away from his touch.
