I have never wanted a book to end more.
The only redeeming quality is that I genuinely like the characters. This book feels like someone took two perfectly lovely jigsaw puzzles, dumped the pieces on a table, mixed them up, threw away the box that shows you how they should look when finished, and said GO! Did I even read the first book? What is happening? The pacing could not be worse. I really wanted to love this.
