I have mixed feelings about this series. I really enjoyed reading the books—they were super easy to fly through, but the overall plot left me a little disappointed. I kept expecting a big, spectacular reason why Avery was chosen, and the actual explanation didn’t feel satisfying or logical to me. Maybe that was the point, but I wanted more from the reveal. Still, I had fun reading the series overall! ⭐️3.75/5
