I was enjoying this book… but a little over 100 pages in, and the flat, cold, detached narration is really starting to creep me out.

The mix of conformist social pressures, free sex, and nervous breakdowns makes me very happy I didn’t live in the 70s. Pretty much all of the relationships in this book are terrifyingly empty and I don’t want to read about it anymore.

Will not finish.
