Had to put back on hold on Libby.
So far, only made it to about chapter 8.
The first person character uses so many similes that the story feels very forced. It took awhile for the natural story dialogue to start flowing and not feeling so forced.
MC also instantly falls for a man as she brushes by him and smells butter, leather and pine. 🤮
Going to give it another go when it’s available again.
