Oohhh… is it based on the show?? Lol jk, I was surprised to see it was written by Shirley Jackson

I’m actually watching the show at the same time, but it’s only loosely inspired by the book. In the book, it is a paranormal investigator and three summer guests who stay at Hill House. It’s so well-written, creepy, and timeless - I can’t believe it was written in 1959 because it feels quite modern.
