wait...so is Robert not Black? it referred to his skin earlier as "ebony", but here where they're talking about their sunburns they're saying that their sunburns make them "virtually indistinguishable" from the Black crew. The crew is described as not being dark-skinned, but Robert's skin is described earlier as "ebony" and I'm supposed to equate that skin tone from sunburn? idk maybe I just don't know sunburns
