this really feels like watching the movie but the movie is 11 hours long.

im enjoying every second of this audiobook (that is, after i got used to the narrator's voice) and it's been so fun seeing the bits the movie chooses to ommit add onto the story.

at this point im gonna have to admit i'm a fan... im going to bed so excited to wake up and keep reading this tomorrow.

while I also enjoy reading novels with calmer and more self-reflective driven narratives, it's books like these that remind me what the love of reading can look like. Interestingly, I've come to realize this can be felt regardless of the book's genre (I thought this was mostly the Y/A effect). Notably, a few books come to mind that have made me feel this way:
- Klara and the Sun
- Emma
- Free Time: The History of an Elusive Ideal
- MHA mangas (😭😭😭)
This felt fun to think about. I'm looking forward to finding more books that hook me in this way
