Finally coming back for a second story of this one for the beginning of October!
This one really pulled me in. Even if there is no big payoff with this one, it created a mystery that I was fascinated by. It really feels like reading about an unsolved internet mystery. There's just something about it.. idk..

Best New Horror - 7/10
I like Joe Hill's writing style so far. This was a fitting start to this collection. It felt like a good way of making a statement on what he is about as a writer and is a solid short story as well. I would've liked a little more excitement at the climax, but he has a way of making a very visual reading experience. My favorite part of this story was reading the description of "Buttonboy".
