this is turning out to be a pretty quick read. it's not too bad...but probably not too great either. just kinda middle of the road.
the constant use of the slang, tho, in the dialogue is seriously taking me out of the story. every times it happens it feels like the book is saying "this is a 50's book! remember, it happens in the 50s! HISTORYYYYYYYYY!!!"
