Berin Kinsman’s Reviews > Paradise Lost > Status Update

It amazing me that a lot of peoples' beliefs about Hell and Satan aren't biblical, and come from Dante and Milton. Which are fiction.

I currently have this physically shelved with Homer and Virgil (epic poetry), but in reading the front matter and why Milton wrote it wonder if it belongs on the shelf with Tolkien and Arthurian myth, as the intention was to write an epic poem for England (even though it's Biblically themed rather than rooted in British mythos). Or should it go back to where I originally had it, with theology and occult books?

There are 56 pages of front matter before we get to page 1. Then there's 165 pages of back matter. And I will read it all, but obviously can only updated numbered pages here.
