yippee slowly getting back to this one
I’ve been reading a lot of Murakami but I still feel conflicted about the writing. It’s so interesting, so creative, but there’s little moments here and there that put me off (very “oh yeah this is a man writing this” type of moments). Reminds me of someone I know and his favorite author… oh how the turn tables

the creativity is amazing. it really feels like stories i’ve never read or heard of or could have ever imagined. I love his pacing. So slow but in such a rewarding way. The way connections slowly begin to build. His use of POV’s and switching perspectives. It’s so fascinating. Wonder if my positive thoughts will last throughout the book!!
