TW: rape
Guys I have a question. This is kind of my shower thoughts today so it doesn’t make the most sense and I can’t figure out how to word it to exactly what I am trying to get at.
Question in comments.
Also i really don’t know how to back this up or debate it so I’m probs not gonna do that…
(Words aren’t working for me rn. I know I make little sense)

Why do we romanticize rape? Some people love to read rape, some possibly even the exact scenarios that happened to Jane Doe. So why do we romanticize it and enjoy it in books, and then when it happens in real life get angered? You cannot read that and enjoy it and then get angry about it happening in real life. What we are doing is desensitizing ourselves to the disgusting actions. Rape is not okay. Not in a book, not in real life, not in a movie. I truly do not understand the way people act, because rape IS NOT okay to romanticize.
