Chapter 22 completed, another pretty strong chapter, a big plot point resolved and handled pretty well. Not enough to raise its rating, but if it continues in that trajectory, it'll definitely occur.

Just finished chapter 19, I personally think it was the strongest chapter thus far, a slight disappointment in an aspect I feel a lot of writers decide to go when they portray the many aspects of horror but outside of that the overall chapter was a net positive for the book.

Done with Part 1, I shall withhold my thots..

Only on chapter 5, it feels like this story is trying to speed-run it's characterization. Maybe it's because I've read many slow burning stories as of late that this feels as though it's rushing through its beginning to me. It makes it feel as though it's really trying to get you to its main plot as quickly as possible? We'll see how that fully plays out 🫤
