One thing to be said for this author is that he doesn't hand pick his sources to embellish his preferred conclusions. He is nothing but exhaustive in listing and interacting with every single text that refers to call, foreknowledge, election, choosing, appointing, predestining. It gets very repetitive at times but it does serve to establish that whether or not one agrees with the details of his conclusions, he is standing on solid, expansive biblical ground.
