To Elphaba- Accept yourself, don't care about others

In my book, the type of conflict I have is Character v society. Elphaba was born green, so she was very different from everyone else. People treated Elphaba very differently just because her skin was green. She also resisted the very corrupt government of Oz.

Elphaba really wants to do what is right and protect the animals in Oz and be accepted. The wizard and madam morrible are standing in her way because they tried to turn Elphaba into a public enemy.

An interesting thing about the setting is that it is very fairy tale and fantasy, but it seems realistic society wise.

"Lozenge-paned windows" (112)

I predict that Boq will eventually try anything to make Galinda think he is the right person for her.
