I HATE WICKED

I read this series when I was 9/10, or smth like that. My brother (twin) is reading that book rn. Sometimes I try to explain it, but how do you say that I forgot where the first book ends, and where the 2nd starts?! Basically, I always read the ‘sneak peek into next book’ so when it’s been a few years and I think abt it, the gaps in between are kinda hazy. Anyway what happened???

no cause the way newt is lashing out and then getting upset about it to himself, and then he's just like asfjahfjsbfskghksdngsignaejae I just can't because he's freaking out and he doesn't want to and the way he thinks that it's okay if everyone makes it out without him and he doesn't care cause like yo 😭😭😭 and minho and newt fighting low-key made me sad, like they were best friends and now they're like newt is not okay, and minho is fighting back and that just doesn't feel right, none of them deserved any of this, like imagine all your best friends are immune and you're not and they're just seen as subjects and not really humans and that's just upsetting

So, Newt gives Thomas a letter in one of those times when he’s not half crank, and says open it later, and Tommy’s obv like “when’s later?” and Newt is like “you’ll know…” so, no pressure or anything. Anyway. They leave Newt in the berg when they’re going into the crank places. Anyway, he gets taken, and then they go and find him again inside one of those city’s. Then Newt sees them and is in one of his calm modes, and is trying so, so hard to get them to go away, and he (understandably once it’s later on in the book) get angry, and shoots someone (not Thomas or Minho btw) with one of those blaster electric things. Anyway, they leave after Newt is like “I can’t even believe you dared to show your face to me again Tommy, and dare to just apologise” and Thomas is so confused. Anyway, later he opens the letter and it says (not in these exact words) “please, if I was ever your friend, shoot me.” and Thomas is like “omg, what have I done!?!?” because now he understands why Newt was so angry. But anyway, he seed Newt one last time, in a group of other cranks. Tommy jumps out the car he was in, and goes to him. Newt is almost full crank now, and he’s just begging, going in and out of full crank mode, begging for Tommy to kill him. He does. He pulls the trigger! 😭😭😭.

It was so sad!
