I want to DNF this book so bad. what a spectacularly boring way to end a somewhat interesting premise. but I'll persevere despite my overwhelming disappointment

this book has NOT caught me at a good time - i have begun to loath it, ESPECIALLY the old duke. they should've just told the truth. 0/10 reading experience but I'm so close to finishing it. gag.
