this was an interesting read. after he gets hung i liked the way his hope was depicted in a way where it wasnt a peaceful helping hand the way id imagine it go but it was morw of a fight for that hope. his drowning, getting shot at and then hiking home the glimmer of hope was some immeadiete thing but more a journey just for him to not be able to reach it
