Harrie called a psychiatrist who refused to come to the house. They need to figure out what to do with Juliette. Juliette ran away with the hate somewhere and they were looking for them. (Past) Juliette and Richard brought Ewan to a psychiatrist who said she doesn’t know what to do yet. Ewan was crying outside because jack grey spoke and they left early before help.

The hare found its way to Juliette and she kept them in the house. Harrie and Richard convinced her to let them out. The hare came back and brutally killed Cass, Harries dog. Juliette put the hair on Ewan’s cot to sleep. Richard buried Cass.

(Past) Ewan was at the festival. It seemed to be going well, but he suddenly changed and stabbed a pony’s eye “to glue”. 🙁 disturbing and sad. Juliette is going to bring him to her mother(?).

Richard went out to photograph the roots. He thought of the print about the hangings in the tree, and contemplated why the three men had done what they did and about Jack Grey. Perhaps they were possessed?

It was New Year’s Eve and Ewan was being put to bed. He said that Jack Grey was telling him to do the bad things. He went to sleep, the new year happened, and Juliette went to check on Ewan but he wasn’t there. He escaped the house. They found him and he may be possessed. He had a dead mouse in his hand.

Juliette’s parents visited them and Ewan was pretending to be the butler. Her mother argued with her about Ewan’s behaviour and Juliette says that her and Richard failed as parents. Her mother says Richard is in denial

Gordon came to visit them and tried to warn Richard that something was in the house. Richard called him ridiculous and refused to let him speak to Juliette. He left after saying that you and I both know Ewan *changed* in the field.

Juliette painted Ewan’s old room white and emptied it fully. Richard tried to type a letter to his boss(?) at the college but couldn’t find the words. He found an old picture of an execution. Juliette hugged Richard and kissed him, being the first intimacy since Ewan’s death. Potential future plans for another child?

(Past) They thought Ewan was having trouble because of school. Ewan and his parents played in the snow and made a snowman, and he seemed happy. After, Richard and Juliette took a bath together and made love then slept peacefully. The next morning, Ewan snuck out and was violent to the snowman, stabbing then decapitating them. He got in trouble with Juliette and Richard tried to reason with her.

Richard captured the hare in two crates and released it into the forest at sunset. The snow and ice was clearing and spring was beginning.
