He makes such a good point. When God exposed himself to us, that is, by being Jesus, we demonstrated our rejection of holiness. He didn’t just die, he was murdered, humiliated, and scorned by a violent crowd. It’s clear by the death of Jesus, that humanity hates holiness. It is only a heart redeemed by unwavering love Himself that could ever appreciate the holy.

A couple days of reading/listening. I really liked Sproul’s explanation of the significance of “holy holy holy”. Wow what a lengthy “Of Mice and Men” reference—was not expecting that.
