Woman found w blindfold and ear plugs hiding under her bed

Nav Systems are down and no autopilot, need to pull from their ship rendering their backup escape plan useless

They work thru all the kinks and start their journey on the Aurora

Somewhere Claire kissed Kane (must’ve missed that) and she says he can’t avoid her she needs his support and he says he was jsut giving her space MOVE ON W THE STORY

Kane being a dr is super worried about Claire and this being a huge trigger for her

They find a rich influencer who was blogging the voyage hanged by her room key chain, someone stabbed her post mortem, she clawed at her own eyes

Another room has a couple who took sleeping pills and tied themselves to their bed, he’s a trillionaire

There’s a way to seal ppl in the bridge w their own life systems and protect them from mutiny, Nysus suggests they could drive Aurora back and lock themselves in the bridge, they’re all too scared to be on the ship for the duration back to earth so they decide to bring it back into the telecom area so when they broadcast from the bridge and post to forums it’s undeniable they found the Aurora and won’t be covered up

Their company Verax now owns City Ventura, the company of Aurora

Verax covered up the outpost tragedy of Claire’s childhood and even her ID since their negligence exacerbated the outbreak but her breaking quarantine started it, if they’ve heard tell the public about aurora they’ll do the same here so there’s no point in telling just get their artifacts and sell

People are frozen in escaped pool water

Voller calls her over to the captain quarters where they and the first mate killed each other

Kane goes to bridge to see black box w Voller, the last diagnostic was run 21 years ago and it was intentional, the beaching of the Aurora

Now: Claire demands to know the ship’s heading and if they’ve heard from anyone on board, the interviewers insist she just continue her story

Now: They confirm she admits to bringing the drill onboard that caused the fatal injuries to Voller, but she says it was self-inflicted; they think she orchestrated this cuz her loan to start her own company was denied and then she’s the lone survivor of a ship w treasures; she sees hallucinations of Kane Voller and Lourdes that haunt her

The Aurora isn’t damaged just empty, systems are offline so it’s freezing and no gravity

Claire says they have to bring an artifact back to make a public claim

Cooler and Claire will go and the others will stay on their ship, Kane gives her a plasma drill to use as a possible weapon

While some just want to leave then report it, both Voller and Claire can’t resist the temptation of high end luxury items they can sell off

Claire had some tragic event that killed everyone she knew, some virus reintroduced that went dormant in a soil sample at an outpost run by Verax who skimped on air filters, she broke quarantine cuz her dead mother told her to go outside, was 11?

Claire is Telecommunications Lead, crew are installing instruments in space to make communication instantaneous, she’s telling the story of how only she lived

Kane - has crush on him, medic

Lourdes - youngest, naive

Nysus - nerd/tech guy

Voller - rough around the edges type guy

They get a distress signal and awayyyyyy we go, it’s Aurora cruise ship w 650 passengers it went missing and here it is 20 yrs later
