Torn with Fourth Wing. I actually like the characters and the world, but I'm struggling with the romance. It's not the romance or spice itself, but the way it's written. The constant sexual tension feels very predictable and cliché, and it's starting to feel like a chore getting through those parts.

This is why I’ve been avoiding it. I don’t mind relationships etc in books but the whole romance is off putting.

It's just the way it's written for me. It's so frustrating I couldn't look past it.
