Conflict is character vs society, conflict vs technology. The society of heroes created a new technology. The new technology are darts that strip you away from having super powers. So Nova, the main character, dislikes it due to them potentially using her, since shes a villain.

On a scale of 1-4, I would say I'ma 3. The reason I say this is because I've already read the series, but the plot, setting, and characters still interest me.

Summer- In a huge city ran by heroes. I don't know a specific date or year, but I would say sometime in the future since they have super powers.

"It was an overcast morning and the top of the building was lost in clouds, making the skyscrapers appear endless" (41)

I predicted they would not find the sentinel when he fell off the boat, into the water. I was correct. They searched for his body, but only a piece of his armor was found.

"Adrien's heart drummed" (12)

Ruby stumbled out from the shadows. She was limping,but where there had been blood before, now a series of jagged red crystals had burst like stalagmites across her open wound. "I'm going after her too," she said, snarling.
