“she didn’t dare breathe because she was terrified that the slightest movement would remind him she was still here”

i think i haven’t related to sth more in this book than i have to this sentence—
that’s sth i used to do when hanging out with a small crowd (i don’t do it anymore cuz i stopped hanging out with multiple ppl lol)

i like Luka (as a character) but please may a friend like him never find me 😭

i read a note from the author at the beginning of this book saying that she doesn’t write love triangles but how is this not a love triangle ? 😭

well the list of beings she vowed to kill is getting longer and longer

“we’re meant to destroy each other”
“then destroy me, little storm”

😩😩

“Let him take care of you, Tessa. For once, just let someone care for you.”
“Do you wish it was you instead of him ?”
“Desperately.”

AWWWW

okay but Eviana’s chapter ? tbh i hadn’t thought about it but i wasn’t surprised.
unless she was as vicious as him (which wouldn’t make sense since she wouldn’t get anything from that viciousness), she had to fake it. and considering her position, that is the smartest (and only) option for the goal she talked about
