Finally I am going to read this classic. Hannah Arendt is a must read. Her critique on totalitarianism is nowadays necessary, seeing how the world is going into that direction. Nazism is atrocious, evil, an abomination but the crimes were also perpetrated by normal people.... Anyways. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have interesting reflections after reading this

Nazism and Stalinism are exactly the same disease. Evil normalizing mass murder and genocide. When people see other people as enemies and everything is justified under this fictional label. That scares me the most and we are going again into that direction with fascism in the United States and Europe
