Dave Schoettinger’s Reviews > Four Queens: The Provençal Sisters Who Ruled Europe > Status Update

The queens referenced in the title were sisters born into 13th century Provence. Goldstone starts with the eldest who found herself married at age 13 into a family with an affable, but clueless, husband and a dominating mother-in-law. This is reminiscent of many of the Korean melodramas that my wife is so fond of streaming.
