LOVE the way she speaks within the sentences and doesn’t make it dialogue. very rachel gillig esque, i wonder what this style of writing is called? when the dialogue is wrapped up into the prose - it makes the writing feel very romantic and quite immersive i think.

yesss excellent levels of betrayal!! i’m happy we didn’t spend so long with them being a “found family” because it’s so late in the book and we don’t need to fake create any new bonds. such a smart move though!

why is roland going to die again? isit because if the coronation happens the family will try and oust him when the queen gets pregnant. and the alternative is he lets the king use his powers and eventually he dies hmm
