Just finished chapter 25. I’m really starting to question Lian and her potential involvement in the political schemes going on-if she is connected to (or simply is) the Shadow. It’s so nice to have found a book that sucks me in again-I was starting to think I’d never get the feeling that made me fall in love with reading back but I love the story and the way that Ning narrates this book

I’ve just finished chapter 21 and am halfway through the book. Despite this, I want to get a bit further before I go to sleep so I’ll try to listen to another chapter or two. At this point I have been reading for an hour and fourth seven minutes and I have an hour and fifty minutes left in the story.

Just finished chapter 9, I’ll be switching back to the audiobook for chapter 10 and onwards

Just starting chapter 8 but temporarily switching to my book instead of the audiobook to quickly read through a scene that’s making my anxiety flare
