I FINALLY REMEMBERED HOW TO UPDATE THIS ON MOBILE!!! theory crafting the man with no shadow is her grandpa or smth reincarnated. i do not usually like 1st person pov but it's really really well used here and the book would be weaker in another pov.

<spoiler>I ALSO AM SO GLAD THE NOT BROTHER IS BACKKKK i thought it was so odd that kate didn't kill him... there's some oddly good moral dilemmas here. it really goes to show her not killing him but then slaughtering the people who cannot Do anything back to her. great way to show her trying to take control of her life in a bad way... cycles and all that</spoiler>
