I love reading about Elaida and her arrogant total ignorance about what is actually going on, like her believing it just false rumour that the Forsaken are free or that Rand has several hundred male channelers sworn to him.

Mat's basically suffering sexual harassment from Queen Tylin at the very least.

I'd forgotten how horribly condescending the ancient Aes Sedai, Cadsuane, is to everyone. She chides Rand for having no manners, while treating him like a child. It is also implied she would have happily bonded him against his will, which many Aes Sedai would regard as bad as rape! She is also scathing of the rebellion against Elaida.
On the bright side the relationship between Min and Rand has progressed.
