Totally agree. It makes me think, if an author uses AI for their artwork, why wouldn't they use it in other ways? It's a shame.

Definitely. I also fear where AI will be taking us. It's good imo that professors use tools for detecting it, but I know there are ways that students might try to get around it, and then, for example, future Doctors will, what, graduate without knowing what to do or how to detect illnesses correctly, playing with life, just cause they wanted to "get a degree", without "doing the work". (I'm talking about Universities).

unfortunately, AI just enables anyone to write a book (quickly) if they want to. so we're gonna see a lot more of this. its upsetting. you would think this would be one sacred area where AI wasn't prevalent, but we're not gonna get that lucky. had to jump in on this convo here bc i agree, its terrible.

Sent you a FRq, everyone is welcome to discuss, as long as they don't insult others for their opinions, and as long as kind or comprehensive language is being used.

I'm also aware that it will be used, like when I was 8y old, there were PCs and the Internet. Now kids play with phones and tablets. This will, too, be the case with AI. However, I'm not entirely sure that the billionaires and politicians pushing this have our best interests at heart.
