Started this book recently as a break from the tome Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. It’s a book club book that needs to read as we have our meeting in a week. Thankfully, it’s a quick read, immediate immersion and a page turner. Just what I needed at this moment. It’s a delight to pick up. Hoping to finish it soon as I need to get back to “the tome”….
